Regulations
Guests must be wearing skates to be allowed onto the ice. Skaters must be mindful of other guests at all times and skate at a respectful speed that matches their own skill level. We reserve the right to refuse access to anyone who does not abide by the proper safety rules. Children must meet the minimum height requirement of 30 in./76.2 cm and be able to walk confidently unassisted. Safety helmets, gloves and warm clothing with long pants and sleeves are highly recommended, especially for young and/or less-experienced skaters. Skate training aids are available for rent. Babies and young children may not sit on a skate training aid. The device is not designed to be used in this manner. Children’s and adult helmets are available to rent. Skate sharpening services are offered on site.
Accessibility
Wheelchairs are not allowed directly on the ice, but a special wheelchair sled is available on site to borrow, free of charge, so that people with a physical disability can take part in the Patinarium experience. The sled can be fitted to any type of wheelchair. A chaperone is required to push the sled. Guests are welcome to bring their own wheelchair sled provided it is designed specifically for on-ice use.
